As of A Now (AOAN) is a 3-D film installation which is projection mapped on to a West Baltimore row house sculpture. The film uses audio visual narratives, soundscapes, animation and augmented reality artifacts which reference the city’s Black denizens, material culture, and the now vacant building’s former inhabitants. The film imagines stories of the occupants’ past, present, and future. The images are projected to assert the idea that these spaces are not neutral, but rather imbued with the residual cultural potency of Baltimore's family legacies.
