Featured along with the 22 illuminated artworks on the 2017 BGE Light Art Walk, Light City will host On Demand, an exhibition of time-based digital content. On Demand will host a curated program of looped video and time-based media content, exploring the range and diversity of experimental forms of cinema made locally and abroad. Creatives working across traditional and experimental short films, animations, poetronica, music videos, and other forms of digital media are encouraged to submit their existing works for consideration.
Applications for Light City’s On Demand program are no longer being accepted. Please check back for 2018 opportunities.

JOBS & VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers make Light City happen! Light City has a host of opportunities for people who want to learn more or just offer their skills, but have limited availability. Volunteers can lend their skills to assist the Ambassadors at art installations, work with the Accessibility or Guest Services team, and so much more!

PORTFOLIO OF SUBMISSIONS
Wow! We received an overwhelming amount of proposals for Light City’s second year, solidifying the fact that when it comes to stellar art, more is more! While we wish we had the opportunity for all proposals received to be at Light City, the Call for Entry process only allowed for 16% of the proposals to be included. We received many outstanding proposals, but we could not produce them all.
Click HERE to explore and learn more about these impressive and innovative artworks.
Should you or your organization wish to produce one of these proposals that are listed as part of this portfolio, please e-mail Light City Festival Coordinator, Ashley Molese at firstname.lastname@example.org.
